Becoming a group facilitator is easy and rewarding. In order to become a Families of Character facilitator, the steps are simple and don’t require any formal training or licenses. If you are interested, register here, and we will send all the necessary materials so we can train you in the comfort of your home. We will work with you each step of the way.
The role of the facilitator is to:
- Recruit participants
- Organize monthly meeting, remind participants
- Facilitate discussion

Facilitator Expectations:

To keep in contact with us once a month (through phone call or email).

Keep your group on task with monthly meeting.

Updating your current virtue on the group home page

Inform group as to where and when the next meeting will be.

When discussing the virtue, keep the group on track, making sure everyone has the opportunity to speak and that discussions don’t drag out too long.

All of the Families of Character materials are copyrighted. Not only is it illegal to copy these materials, it is opposed to what the Families of Character course teaches. Additionally, Families of Character requires that each couple or individual purchase their own materials, as such we do not permit the sharing of materials (such as two couples or individuals, not related sharing one families of Character Study Guide) in a Families of Character course.
Privacy Policy
As a Families of Character facilitator, you will have access to the personal data such as email addresses, mailing address and phone numbers of the couples and individuals registered for the Families of Character course you lead, in order to communicate with the couples and individuals in your group. Out of respect for the privacy of the couples and individuals registering for the course, facilitators are required to keep this information confidential. Facilitators are permitted to use this contact information ONLY for Families of Character purposes. Under no circumstances should email addresses, mailing address and phone numbers for the couples or individuals registered for your Families of Character group be added to general email lists or group mailing lists. Failure to comply with this policy could result in the termination of your Families of Character course.
