To Utilize Your Group Forum Follow The Steps Below:
1) Go to www.familiesofcharacter.com and log on the site
2) Click on your 'Members Area' Tab
3) On the left side of the page, click the 'My Group forum' tab
4) Click the 'New Topic' tab at the bottom of your forum box and a text box will pop up
5) In this text box labeled 'Create New Discussion', create a heading then fill out the subject matter. To submit click the 'Add Record' button and a message will be posted and sent to all group members.
TopTo Log On With Your Username And Password, Follow The Steps Below:
1) Log onto www.familiesofcharacter.com
2) In the top right corner click the blue 'login' tab
3) A dialog box will appear asking for your username and password- enter it here. They WILL be case sensitive.
4) When the page refreshes you will be logged on the homepage under your account!
At this point you are free to surf around the site and check out your Member’s Area.
TopTo Reset Your Password, Follow The Steps Below:
1) Log onto www.familiesofcahracter.com
2) In the top right corner click the blue 'login' tab
3) A dialog box will appear asking for a username and password, under that click the 'Reset Password' link
4) The page will refresh and you must type in your email address
5) Your username and new password will be emailed to that address immediately.
TopTo Change Your Password, Follow The Steps Below:
1) Log onto www.familiesofcharacter.com
2) In the top right corner click the blue 'login' tab
3) A dialog box will appear asking for a username and password, type in your username and password exactly as it reads.
NOTE: if you are taking this user and password from your email, do not include quotation marks.
4) When the page refreshes you will be logged in on your account.
5) Click on your name in the top right side of the page (where 'login' used to be)
6) A dialog box will appear with a number of options, click 'Change My Password'
7) Enter and confirm your new password. Click 'Update Password’ to complete.
TopTo Populate Your Family Profile Page, Follow The Steps Below:
1) Go to www.familiesofcharacter.com and log on the site
2) On the top of your screen click the blue 'Members Area' tab
3) Click on the edit icon and enter your Family's Mission Statement
4) Under your newly populated mission statement, on the right side of the screen click the 'Add Family Member' link and enter all children in your family
5) Once all your children are added, with your spouse, go through your chapter's self assessment for yourselves and each of the children.
6) Decide on a goal for the month that you would like to improve on and a goal for the month that you would like to work with each child to improve on.
7) Beneath your now populated family members, there is a drop down and text box for you to enter in all the goals you would like to work on with each family member. Select each child and enter in their goal for the month
NOTE: This process is to be repeated for every new chapter.
TopTo Submit A Goal For The Month, Follow The Steps Below:
1) Go to www.familiesofcharacter.com and log on the site
2) On the top of your screen click the blue 'Members Area' tab. This will bring you to your personal member page.
3) At the bottom of the page you will find a place for you to add your goal. Type your goal in the text box next to your name and click 'Add Goal'.
TopTo Customize How You Receive Your Daily Reminders, Follow The Steps Below:
1) Go to www.familiesofcharacter.com and log on the site
2) Click on your 'Members Area' Tab
3) On the left side of the page, click the 'Reminder Notification' tab
4) When the dialog box appears enter whatever method you would like to use for receiving messages (email, text, or both)
5) You can remove any methods in this text box by clicking the 'trashcan logo' next to each method
EXAMPLE: If you don't want your reminders sent to your email click the trashcan logo next to your email address. This is all located on the right side of the reminder notification dialog box.
