We believe that people learn by example. The more families that live a life of virtue, the better example they set, not just for their children, but for their friends and even strangers. Families of Character has a larger purpose than just eradicating bad behavior on an individual family basis. It is about starting small—in your own community and neighborhood—and shaping the families of the future.

There’s several ways for you to get involved:

• Spread the word. We are always looking for new ways to expand our program through other, already established community organizations. If you know of an organization, eg. school, church or moms’ group, that you think could benefit from the program, please pass along their information and how you’d like to us to get in touch with them.
• Sponsor a family. If you know of a couple (or single parent) that you would like to join your group, but they are financially constrained, you could become a sponsor. Becoming another couple’s sponsor won’t just change their relationship with each other, but the trajectory of their family.
• Donate to Families of Character. Families of Character is a non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c) (3) organization and appreciates your donations. Donations support the greater part of our operating costs. 96% of the money we receive goes into program development or marketing.
